Rebecca Black
The most unlikely reinvention in pop. Rebecca Black was fourteen when "Friday" made her the internet's punchline in 2011; she is now one of hyperpop's genuinely interesting artists. She came out as queer in 2020 and got specific with NME in 2025: "I am queer, I am bi, I am pan - I am all of those. But I am also gay." Let Her Burn (2023) and Salvation (2025) rebuilt her as a club artist, and her third album Age of the Exhibitionist arrived September 4, 2026. She founded her own label after a dispute over the "Friday" masters, and in 2025 opened for Katy Perry.
Is Rebecca Black queer?
Yes. She came out as queer in 2020 and told NME in 2025, "I am queer, I am bi, I am pan - I am all of those. But I am also gay."
