Who we are

This policy applies to Queer Boulevard, operated by Richard Bravo, and describes information collected through this website and its newsletter. Contact richard@queerboulevard.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address, the page where you signed up, the time you gave consent, your signup IP address when available, signup status, and unsubscribe date. We also receive information you voluntarily send us, such as messages or submissions.

Hosting and analytics services may collect technical and usage data, including IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages and approximate location. Do not send sensitive health information.

How we use information

We use information to send newsletters you request, record consent, manage subscriptions and unsubscribes, answer messages, maintain security, understand readership and improve the site. We do not use a newsletter signup as consent for unrelated marketing.

Service providers and sharing

We use Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase, to store and process signup records. No email platform is currently connected. Signups are stored here and are not automatically forwarded; no confirmation email is sent. Hosting and analytics providers process technical usage information on our behalf where enabled. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Affiliate retailers and linked social or streaming platforms apply their own privacy policies when you visit them; they may use cookies to attribute purchases.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies or local storage may support security and editor sign-in. Analytics tools, embedded media and external retailers may use additional cookies or similar technologies when enabled or visited. You can manage cookies in your browser and block third-party cookies, although some features may not work. Where legally required, nonessential tracking requires consent. We honor applicable opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for any sale or sharing subject to those signals.

Retention, security and deletion

We keep subscription information while needed to provide the newsletter, record consent and meet legal obligations. Limited suppression records may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request. We use access controls and reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.

Unsubscribe using the link in an email, or email richard@queerboulevard.com from your subscribed address to request access, correction or deletion. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your request. Removing local signup data does not automatically remove records a retailer independently holds.

California privacy rights

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), applies, California residents may request to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, their sources, purposes and recipients; request deletion or correction; and receive a portable copy. You may opt out of sale or sharing and limit qualifying uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising or collect sensitive information for that purpose.

You may use an authorized agent, subject to appropriate verification, and will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Send requests to richard@queerboulevard.com. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines, generally 45 days for verified requests, and explain any permitted extension or exception.

Children, international processing and changes

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information. Service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We will update this page when practices change and provide additional notice when required.
